On September 30th, two new Cloud Private Edition items have been added to the price list and released for the Oil, Gas and Energy industry in the fuel distribution and retailing segment. These two items are SAP Branded Resellers, developed by Implico:

8011435 SAP S/4HANA Cloud for oil and gas secondary distribution management, private edition

Incorporating decades of industry-specific know-how and best practices, the solution (often called “SDM”) provides energy distribution companies with the needed functionality and innovation to boost their operational efficiency, and unlock operational insights to increase customers’ satisfaction and loyalty. SDM includes:

  • Order management and logistics: full end-to-end automation of fuels supply processes from terminal to consumers,

  • Forecasting and replenishment (for demand and sales): automatic products replenishment of tanks using consumption forecasts,

  • Truck scheduling and dispatch: smart, digitalized dispatching and route optimization, and

  • Business monitoring and controlling: enablement of data-driven decision-making.


8011436 SAP S/4HANA Cloud for oil and gas retail fuel network operations, private edition

The solution, often called “RFNO”, is dedicated for the management of service station networks and covers the end-to-end process of fuel station management. Fully integrated into the SAP landscape, the solution includes:

  • Monitoring and processing of incoming data: automatic evaluation and correction of all data received,

  • Fuel inventory management: real-time overview of inventory at service station level,

  • Automatic service station forecasting and replenishment: optimal fuel inventories at any time,

  • Payment card processing: reconciliation and documentation of payment card transactions,

  • Fleet card management: comprehensive functions to manage own and third-party fleet cards,

  • Dealer settlement: automatic reconciliation and documentation of all dealer activities with daily invoicing, and

  • Reporting: overview of the complete network to enable data-driven decision-making.


These two solutions now available as Cloud Private Edition enable companies to adopt a Cloud approach with the full spectrum of Oil, Gas and Energy industry-specific solutions and can complement RISE with SAP programs.
