New pilot service to help customers effort the estimation required to migrate from SAP Process Orchestration to the SAP Integration Suite
As customers are aware, SAP is transitioning to become the cloud company and helping customers to become Intelligent Enterprises by supporting their digital transformation to the cloud. This is for all areas of your business including the strategic Integration topic area with SAP offering key capabilities to support customers integrations needs through the SAP Integration Suite.
In line with SAP Notes/KBA 2881788 and 1648480, SAP’s on-premise integration platform SAP Process Orchestration on the latest SAP NetWeaver 7.50 release will be in mainstream maintenance until December 2027, with extended maintenance until 2030.

For those customers starting to investigate the transition to the SAP Integration Suite, we have started a new pilot of a remote service to help customers to understand the effort required to migrate their integration scenarios from their PI/PO system to the SAP Integration Suite. Please note that at present the pilot service is only suitable for customers on the latest release PO 7.5.
As a first step we ask for a Questionnaire to be completed to get an understanding of the customer’s system landscape, current system usage, etc. Afterwards we will review the content to ensure that it is appropriate for the pilot and set up a short call to discuss the topic further. As a next step, we will provide customers with a tool to perform a data extraction of current interface data implemented on your PI/PO system and ask you to send the data securely to SAP.
We will use this information internally to perform an assessment on the effort estimation to migrate the integration scenarios to the SAP Integration Suite. After our analysis, SAP will provide a report that will estimate in a date range, the effort involved for customers to migrate their current integration scenarios from their PI/PO system to the SAP Integration Suite. Furthermore, for each individual interface given, we will provide a rating to advise which interfaces can and cannot be migrated presently to the SAP Integration Suite. The outcome of the assessment will be a service report provided to the customer.
Also, as this is a pilot service, we would need your feedback after the service has been delivered to improve the quality of delivery in the future.
