For the last time this year, let me welcome you to our product update of the intelligent Cloud ERP series, where we share insights on how technologies such as robotic process automation, machine learning, and end-to-end integration scenarios support your individual journey to the intelligent enterprise.
As part of our roadmap, this product update series enables you to fully understand how the end-to-end integration between different SAP solutions makes you run with a unique suite of best of bread.

A Few Examples Leveraging SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation
With SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2105, we introduced SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation 2.0. Its low-code no-code approach makes the adoption of RPA bots easy. With this release, we have a few new bots built using the new environment, let me mention 3:
Enterprise Search
With this release, we have added an additional column in the Manage Search Models app to make it easier to detect whether a model is extendable or not.
Before, it was necessary to go inside the model and navigate to the “Fields” tab and check if the “Modify” button exists. If there was a modify button, the model was extendible. Now this information can be seen directly on the master page with an added “Extendable” column.
Real Estate and Two-Tier ERP
For all corporate and commercial real estate organizations, we support a simplification of processes with SAP Intelligent Real Estate.
Here you can benefit from a single source of truth for your entire real estate portfolio with a streamlined master data model, enabling end-to-end real estate business processes and supporting key topics like space management, remote work, sustainability, cloud, and analytics.
You can manage all external, intercompany, and internal occupancy from a single application and analyze building efficiency through embedded analytics offering a detailed analysis of costs, revenues, and capacity utilization.
Pattern Recognition with Machine Learning
As a great complement to the SAP S/4HANA Cloud GRC portfolio, we are releasing with SAP Cloud Identity Access Governance solution 2111 a new BTP application, planned for November 2021.
With this innovation, machine learning algorithms are used for an automated log review for privileged access.
This intelligent process is an AI-based pattern recognition that highlight suspicious logs based on context, and ease out identification of false positives.
This simplified and more effective log review process reduces manual efforts, and improves confidence and auditability from reduced review errors.
Automation with Situation Handling
Situation handling brings a particular business event to the attention of a relevant group of business users. Lines-of-business Sales and Finance are proposing some scenario with this release.
In addition, situation types with rule-based recipients will be automatically activated from the following standard situation templates:
Situation types will only be automatically activated in your SAP S/4HANA Cloud system if there are no situation types previously enabled from the corresponding standard templates.
Business Situation Event for Deletion
Deleted events can now be used for business situations, meaning that an event is triggered every time a situation instance is deleted.
Consumers of business situations outside of SAP S/4HANA Cloud are informed about the deletion of a situation instance via an event.
Embedded Analytics in Governance, Risk, and Compliance
We deliver two predefined stories for SAP Financial Compliance Management in SAP Analytics Cloud, offering you full transparency on the status quo regarding your organization’s compliance analysis and the analysis of controls master data.
You can take advantage of these interactive, out-of-the-box dashboards with up-to-date information to identify company-wide trends and to spot compliance issues before they even become a real threat – and this, flexibly adaptable to your own needs.
And finally, let me share examples of our enhanced cloud-to-cloud Integration:
Manufacturing and Supply Chain
In our last release, we delivered the Integration scenario Supplier Collaboration with Material Requirements Planning Change Request for Manufacturing and Supply Chain. In this release, we made the whole scenario extensible.
As a key user, you can now create custom fields for MRP change requests and enable the exchange of custom field data between SAP S/4HANA Cloud and external systems used by suppliers.
In addition, the new 'Schedule Processing of MRP Change Requests' SAP Fiori app enables you to schedule jobs to automatically process change requests when no response has been received from suppliers. You can apply or discard such change requests based on your configuration settings and the parameters that you specify for the job.
Integration of SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2111 with the Ariba Network
This scenario offers offers a quick enablement of suppliers through quote automation.
A buyer can now create a central RFQ and send price requests to new suppliers even if they are not yet available or registered on the Ariba Network.
When sending price requests to the suppliers, they automatically receive an invite to register on the Ariba Network, facilitating the process and communication.
Enhanced integration of SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2111 with SAP Concur Solutions
This integration leverages Custom Field Mapping with the Manage Concur Substitution Rules app. With this app, you can tailor the SAP Concur integration to your business process by creating substitution rules to edit or maintain non-standard fields.
This allows you to map SAP Concur fields to the supported FI document item fields.
