SAP launches collaboration with TUMO to further extend support of education, innovation and community programs in Armenia
SAP continues its support of education, innovation and community programs in Armenia.
In 2021 SAP with Business Angels Network of Armenia (BANA) opened SAP Startup Factory by BANA – acceleration program designed for B2B startups from all over Armenia to help them conquer global markets guiding the selected startups to SAP Store.
On October 15 we announced the launch of our new exciting collaboration in Armenia – with TUMO, Center of Creative Technologies. This strategic collaboration aimed at helping university students and recent graduates understand, utilize and shape digital technologies. Students will have the opportunity to put their creativity to work and connect research ideas to real-world business challenges.
EU TUMO Convergence Center for Engineering and Applied Sciences became a member of SAP University Alliances and TUMO´s students will work in TUMO Labs with SAP Innovation Center Network on multiple innovation challenges to explore emerging topics such as the future of self-service, augmented access control or augmented extended planning and analysis, new AI/ML business scenarios.
In close collaboration with experts at the SAP Innovation Center Network, students will work to formulate proven and validated solutions to industry challenges. The expected outcomes range from user interface mockups and use-case ideas to data exploration and prototype code.
Plans to expand the collaboration are being evaluated and could include SAP Young Thinkers programs, opening SAP Next-Gen Lab in the EU TUMO Convergence Center to work on the real business challenged formulated by companies, School42 programs, and support of the startups via SAP Startup Factory by BANA acceleration programs.
