SAP Integration and Certification Center now introduces the "Works with RISE with SAP" certification category across its certification portfolio. ISV and partner solutions that undergo integration certification, will now be tested for their working with SAP solutions available with "RISE with SAP" strategy.
Integrations built with SAP digital core solutions such as SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition, and solutions that extend the SAP digital core and that are built on SAP Business Technology platform features under Cloud Platform Enterprise Agreement, are some of the example integrations that may qualify for this certification category.
Update: Starting in Q4 / 2022 and to align even more with SAP’s cloud strategy, Partner add-ons are expected to support RISE compatibility by default, when they apply for integration certification, and will be branded SAP Certified – Integration with RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Later, the integration scenarios for S/4HANA (on-premise) might go into maintenance mode and will be available only upon partner request/customer needs.
To qualify for the new certification category, the 3rd party solution must complete the pre-requisites like - integration with SAP solutions available through "RISE with SAP", cloud operation compatibility, etc. If the 3rd party solution is an add-on solution to SAP S/4HANA, it must first qualify for its compatibility with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition. Please refer to the link for more information about the process for S/4HANA Cloud, private edition certification.
SAP customers beginning their journey of Intelligent Enterprise with RISE with SAP, can now look for such partner and ISV solutions to extend SAP standard functionalities. The certification ensures a technical validation of 3rd party solution and subsequently reduces the implementation times for it to work with SAP solutions in the cloud environment.
Partners and ISVs can also benefit from such validation to reach out to customers moving to RISE with SAP and looking for the extensibility of SAP solutions.
