Gearing up for Another Successful Holiday Season

With the holiday season rapidly approaching, SAP is completing preparatory initiatives to ensure successful sales events for all participating SAP Commerce Cloud customers. SAP understands the importance of these events, and as a result, does everything possible to provide end-users with smooth, stable, and satisfactory shopping experiences throughout the season.  

Before assessing capacity and resource requirements, SAP gathers customer data through an enrollment survey and tailors its coverage throughout the season to meet the needs of each individual customer and offer best-in-class support. Although enrollment is complete, please contact your SAP Customer Engagement Executive if you are expecting significant traffic increases and have not yet enrolled in the coverage program. 

Despite our best efforts, unilateral preparation is simply not sufficient for sales events of this magnitude. SAP provides guidance to customers on how to best manage their performance internally to complement SAPs support. Customers are advised to complete stress and load tests to assess environment readiness prior to the busy season, and to leverage the capabilities within Dynatrace to manage and optimize the performance of their Commerce Cloud solution 

While equipping customers with the resources required for success, SAP is also attentive to customer questions ahead of or during the holiday season. Customers are invited to submit SAP Support tickets should they need any hands-on aid or advice.  

Additionally, customers are strongly encouraged to subscribe to the SAP Cloud System Notification Subscription service, to ensure that all key team members receive notifications tailored to their individual communication preferences. For more information on the CSNS, including a help guide, please visit our Support Portal. Customers are also requested to ensure they have updated their Distribution Lists to receive Monitoring Alerts from the SAP Monitoring team. For help with Distribution Lists, please refer to this SAP Help article.
