A new conference is added to the list of virtual events: ABAPConf. It’s all about ABAP, the lingua franca of the SAP universe. ABAPConf will take place on 9th December 2021, is free and virtual: sessions will be streamed on YouTube, no registration is needed (if you want to register interest and get updates, you can register here).

Help us to make it a successful event. Participate, be a speaker, tell your colleagues about the event.

The call for speakers is open. You can submit your session until 29th October.

I invite you to participate in this year’s ABAPConf. The agenda will feature sessions from the people at SAP that drive ABAP development as well as firsthand experiences from ABAP developers from customers and partners.

The focus is on how to use ABAP, what is possible with this programming language that is often declared dead, yet is running critical solutions at many companies and helps to run businesses around the world. This conference is for the ABAP developers that are working on NetWeaver 7.4, 7.5, as well as for developers creating apps for S/4HANA or are already using ABAP in the cloud.

As the conference focuses on DACH and German speaking audience, we are looking primarily for sessions in German. As ABAP is a programming language spoken all around the world, and the conference language is German and English, we also accept sessions in English.

The ABAPConf web site contains more information about the event. To register interest in the event and to be updated about news via email, you can register at the EventBrite site, or follow the event on Twitter to get further updates.
