Stories and reports need to be more insightful and responsive than ever before. That’s why, as part of the SAP Data and Analytics Virtual Forum: Accelerating Outcomes, we’re holding a special workshop session from October 5, 6, and 7 on Interactive Reporting with Enterprise Analytics and Planning in SAP Analytics Cloud.
Our workshop aims to help SAP Analytics Cloud users – particularly BI analysts and information workers – on a variety of topics, from augmented analytics to machine learning tools to simulation capabilities. Through guided hands-on sessions, you’ll learn how to use these tools to build, design, and customize responsive and comprehensive dashboards to help you and your organization monitor key metrics and identify key insights.
The workshop will take place over three days from October 5th to October 7th. Each hour-long, hands-on session will be led by jessica.gutierrez and thomastsang. Here’s what you can expect from each session:
Session 1 – Enable Self-Service Analysis with Augmented Analytics
In the first session, we will go over how to use SAP Analytics Cloud’s augmented analytics and visualization workflows to build reports that monitor relevant KPIs for you and your organization. You will have access to a training environment of SAP Analytics Cloud so that you can easily follow along.
Session 2 – Visualize Data with Customizable Reports
In the second session, we will use Smart Discovery – SAP Analytics Cloud’s machine learning tool – to remove bias in our story, determine what information is relevant, and find areas to dive deeper into. You will also learn how to design and customize your story to focus on the key information you need to report on.
Session 3 – Simulate Outcomes for Strategic Enterprise Planning
In the third session, we will showcase how SAP Analytics Cloud’s simulation capabilities can help you see relationships in your data, visualize interconnected areas of your organization, and evaluate different business outcomes. You will work with an example dataset and simulate outcomes using a Value Driver Tree. Doing so will help you create an interactive, thorough report that your organization can use to better obtain key insights.
