From Cloud Availability Center to SAP for Me
Cloud Availability Center (CAC) is the dashboard that provides you with an overview of the availability of SAP cloud services. SAP for Me is the central gateway to improve the SAP customer experience along all digital touchpoints with SAP, including CAC.
The integration of CAC into SAP for Me is making remarkable progress. Therefore, let’s have a look at what is already available and what is planned the rest of the year.
Following the path > Customer Dashboard > Systems & Provisioning, you will first get an overview of your Cloud Systems and their current availability status.
The Systems & Provisioning dashboard contains three tabs: Systems, Cloud Delivery and Availability. Availability is integrated into the Systems and Availability tab.
You will be able to look at the availability details for each system by clicking on the System Name.
On the System Details page, you will be able to toggle between the last 6 months and the last 12 months information on events and availability (bar chart on the left), in addition to general information about the service in the header.
For more details on a specific Event, please click on the Event name.
On the left side of the Event Details page, a notification timeline is displayed, with the option to display more information. The systems affected by the Event are listed on the right side, grouped by Data Center.
On this tab of the Systems & Provisioning dashboard you will find the Event list, from which you can also access the Event Details page, and the Availability Reporting.
Menu / My Calendar
Planned Maintenance events are displayed in the Calendar. You can customize the display by changing the color.
Please note that the links to Cloud Availability Center are available until the corresponding functionalities have been fully integrated into SAP for Me.
One essential feature yet to be implemented is the Event Timeline for services and systems on the System Details page. It will replace the Gantt chart in Cloud Availability Center.
We will also implement a link to Cloud System Notification Subscriptions, that will remain our subscription tool. Please check our Support page for more information.
You can access SAP for Me with your S-user or SAP Universal ID. There is no need to request new authorizations for existing users.
