With the upcoming
release of SAP S/4HANA 2021, SAP brings many new features and simplifications for customers. This brings unprecedented opportunity for partners to utilize these innovations from SAP and ensure compatibility with latest releases.
Partners providing additional functionality as ABAP Add-Ons, are encouraged to check as early as possible, if their Add-On is compatible with every new release of SAP S/4HANA. SAP has made it easier than ever to get hands-on SAP S/4HANA 2021. Partners do not have to wait until the new SAP software becomes generally available (GA status), before they can see it.
SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) offers an
Early Adopter Program for qualified partners, that have built a certified Add-On for SAP S/4HANA. There is no cost to join the Early Adopter Program:
- SAP ICC is able to provide S/4HANA-2021-beta-systems hosted by SAP, and partners can get time-limited remote shared access. Usage is possible immediately without having to install and maintain an own copy.
Partners can install, test and adjust their Add-Ons easily for the new release, and finalize the testing period with an ABAP Add-On Deployment Certification.
- With that, they are ready when the new S/4HANA-release becomes GA and they can support their customers in the best and fastest way.
Customers using Partner-Add-Ons in their SAP S/4HANA systems, and planning to upgrade to the new release, are encouraged to inform their partners of this program. With that, partners and customers can mutually benefit from a smooth upgrade, when the new release is available later.
How to request for an Invite:
Early Adopter Program is by invitation and only limited seats are available. Please request for an invite from SAP ICC to benefit from the program. Partners that have certified their Add-On for SAP S/4HANA before and are subscribed to the
ABAP Add-On Certification Program can apply for the Early Adopter Program by sending an email to
icc@sap.com with subject “Participation in Early Adopter Program”.
