Introduction to Analytics Designer Developer Handbook

Introduction

SAP Analytics Cloud, analytics designer enables analytics application designers to create centrally governable analytic contents, ranging from guided analytics dashboards to sophisticated planning and smart applications.

Since the first release of the analytics designer, we have witnessed many customers utilize this tool to build their analytic contents for business needs in a very innovative way.  Here’re some vivid examples of these innovations: SAP Analytics Cloud Analytics Designer Empowers 3D Intelligent Factory, Extending SAP Analytics Cloud’s Visualization Capability with Apache ECharts, Analytics Designer: Five Business Cases for Truly Informed Experiences, etc.

While we’re amazed at customers’ success in making the most of the tool, we often hear these questions: How can I get started with the analytic designer? Where can I get samples? What are the best practices of designing analytic applications?

If you have similar questions, Analytics Designer Developer Handbook is for you. It is a comprehensive guide including everything you should know about analytics designer as an application designer, ranging from the onboarding materials like basic concepts, widgets and script APIs to deep-dive contents like typical patterns, best practices and performance tips.
