We’re coming back this week to show you two enhancements in our integration scenarios as well as a new feature in the subscription area. Let’s see together what’s new:
The following additions have been made to support the integration:
Integration with Sales Billing is enabled by the SAP Best Practices scope item 57Z (which replaced the previous scope item 2AP with S/4HANA 2105). For detailed information on the integration, see in Subscription Management with Sales Billing (57Z) in the Integration Guide.
The following additions have been made to support the integration:
Integration with Convergent Invoicing is enabled by the SAP Best Practices scope item 5IK. The previous scope item for Convergent Invoicing integration (2PT) is now retired. For detailed information on the integration, see Subscription Management with Convergent Invoicing (5IK) in the Integration Guide.
To get a nice overview of the integration, watch the demo video.
Subscriptions can now have a subscription-specific time zone that differs from the time zone of the market. You see the time zone that applies to a subscription in the subscription header, under Time Zone.
The related allowances and bills inherit the time zone of the subscription.

Enhancements to Integration with Sales Billing in SAP S/4HANA Cloud (2108)
The following additions have been made to support the integration:
- Billing forecast data is now replicated to billing plans, enabling event-based revenue recognition for subscriptions.
- Subscription-specific time zones enable you to align the time zones of SAP Subscription Billing and the order entry system.
- You can show subscription purchase information on the customer’s invoice by providing a customer reference in a subscription.
