During July 19th to 23th, SAP University Alliances Train-the-trainer activity came to Qingdao, a beautiful coastal city again, to share the latest enterprise digital transformation trends for university faculties during summer vacation, and exchange teaching practice and experience around digital talent cultivation. The event was hosted by SAP University Alliances China and SAP University Competence Center (Beijing), supported by SAP Innovation Enablement Center (Qingdao) and School of management of Shandong University, and attracted nearly 100 teachers from universities across the country.
At the meeting on the morning of the 19th, Yan Baoxian, director of the Investment Promotion Department of Qingdao Aoshan Bay future city management committee, and Professor Xun Wei, general manager of SAP Innovation Enablement (Qingdao), delivered warm welcome speeches respectively.
Later, Professor Wu Changqi, Dean of School of management of Shandong University, Wang Chuanping, founder and CEO of Haitong Anheng, Benny Sun, program manger of SAP University Alliances, Professor Li Yidong, director of SAP University Competence Center (Beijing), and Liu Bin, business director of SAP Education, shared the latest trends, challenges and opportunities brought by digital transformation from different angles, In particular, the practices and resources from SAP and SAP Ecosystem to better support cultivate digital talent for the future.
Witnessed by all the guests and participants, SAP Innovation Enablement Center (Qingdao) also signed cooperation agreements with Shandong Institute of management and Hangzhou Yingyun technology to promote local digital talent training and industrial enablement through closer cooperation in the coming future.
From the afternoon of the 19th to the 23rd, four TTT bootcamps, including Intro to design thinking, Intro to S/4HANA using GBI, Intro to SAP Analytics Cloud and Intro to SAP SuccessFactors, have been delivered respectively. The trainers’ rich teaching experience, well-prepared training scheme and selfless experience sharing have been highly appreciated by the participating professors and lecturers.
This time, we also specially organized a visit to Rhein-Koster, a leading enterprise in the field of intelligent manufacturing education, for faculties to learn some good practice of industry 4.0 in university teaching, which left a deep impression for participants.
