This blog illustrates how the cloud journey with SAP Cloud ALM can be accelerated by watching our video series on the Services and Support YouTube channel.
When we kicked off the project, our goal was to ensure a flawless setup experience and to boost the end-user productivity. The video series should complement our already available assets on SAP Help Portal and SAP Support Portal.
With the video series, we provide an end-to-end experience by explaining how SAP Cloud ALM can be requested and how roles are assigned to users.
In addition, we detail, for instance, how to define the process scope and how to perform Fit-to-Standard workshops.
When you want to connect your cloud products, you may watch a how-to video about the setup for your selected scenario, for example, how to set up Business Process Monitoring for SAP SuccessFactors.
Behind the scenes:
The cross project team consisted of product owners / product management, user assistance developers, several video production experts, and myself.
Our target was to establish a harmonized user experience based on storyboards, which describe the individual steps, as a basis for the video recording.
The second step was to record a professional voiceover, which required more attention as expected. Therefore, we had to switch from an ordinary headset to appropriate equipment, such as a condenser microphone.
Finally, the raw material had to be put together during post production.
Especially at the beginning, when we were producing the first prototypes, a couple of iterations were needed until all good practices were established. This includes blurring real usernames, speaking slowly, and pausing briefly after each sentence.
