Over the past 3 years, the Solution Extensions provided by SAP platinum partner, BlackLine, have helped customers achieve more automation in their critical financial closing processes. SAP Account Substantiation and Automation, by BlackLine, as well as SAP Intercompany Financial Hub, by BlackLine have been adopted by companies in all industries around the world.
For each solution extension in the SAP portfolio, SAP performs an annual Premium Qualification (PQ) - an extensive testing program which ensures the quality of the entire integration scenario. Following this PQ, the integration technology/connectors become part of the SAP product, and SAP takes on a support obligation.
The most recent PQ tested the integration between the On Premise SAP S/4HANA 2020 system and the BlackLine Cloud, and included both the SAP Connector (ABAP Add-on) as well as the Journal Entry interface leveraging WebServices (Fiori App for upload of GL Journal entries). The connections relevant for SAP Intercompany Financial Hub were also successfully PQed.
