In 2019 SAP University Alliances has launched with SAP Labs CIS MD Andrej Bievetski and SAP CIS MD Andrey Filatov a Projects Olympiad "Digital Russia" in Russian Children's Center "Orlyonok". Over 200 young thinkers participated to the first season developing interesting projects on different SAP related business cases using Design Thinking approach, 3D modelling and 3D printing to enhance interactive physical map of Russia installed in "Orlyonok" by SAP.
On July 1, 2021 we have launched a Second Season with SAP CIS MD Andrey Filatov and colleagues from Orlyonok - Deputy MD Andrey Melyakov, Director of Edu programs Larisa Saifutdinova and Head of SAP Innovation Center and Next-Gen Lab Ludmila Kayumova. Theme of this Season - Sustainability and Climate change. Andrey Filatov presented what SAP is doing in this important area, and together with Igor Belousov from SAP University Alliances answered many questions from young thinkers and participated to the in-depth discussion on SDG with colleagues from Orlyonok.
During first stream (June 28 - July 12) five projects have been prepared.
On July 7, five teams of young thinkers presented their projects to Igor Belousov to get SAP inputs and improve their projects before the final evaluation. On July 9-11, SAP experts evaluated the projects, and on July 12 the winners have been announced and awarded the Certificates to visit SAP Digital Leadership Center in Moscow (in on-line or off-line format depending on pandemic situation). The winners Teams are "Smart Weed Control" and "Intelligent Fire Drone".
