Journey from On premise Integration to the Cloud to the SAP Community through a community call.
SAP customers are on a digital transformation journey and as a part of this, want to move their integration landscape to the cloud. This helps them to modernize their IT landscape and scale their business as they grow into an Intelligent Enterprise.
In this session Dr. Vadim Klimov, who is an integration veteran and Black Belt from customer ARM, shared their evolution of SAP Integration landscape and migration from SAP Process Orchestration to SAP Integration Suite. He shared the SAP landscape at ARM and its evolution.
Some of the most interesting aspects which was very well received and valuable, was the comparison between a technical migration(lift and shift) vs a real transformation which involves redesigning of your integration scenarios, along with the advantages and drawbacks of each approach, when moving your integration landscape from on-premise to the cloud.
Vadim also very well covered the SAP Integration Suite principles which were key to consider along with challenges faced and lessons learnt from their key use cases.
