Launched in 2010, SAP HANA is a modern and mature solution used by tens of thousands of customers around the world. But SAP HANA is much more than a database. In addition to acting as a database server, storing and retrieving data requested by applications, SAP HANA offers advanced search, analytics, and data integration capabilities for all types of data - structured and unstructured. It also functions as an application server and helps companies build smart, insight-driven applications based on real-time data, in-memory computing, and machine learning technology. These capabilities are available both in the cloud, and on-premise.

First steps are not always easy, but once you are in the flow, it often just flows. There is so much to explore that you might already gained some knowledge about, but want to take a deep dive (I am sure there is always more to learn and explore). There is surely also more ways to participate, that we - believe me - see and appreciate. Have you heard about our Random Day Surprise? It values our engagers, because for any kind of participation/activity you will receive a badge on a random day that is kept secret until that day (otherwise it wouldn't be a surprise, right?) One such activity can be that you make your opinion count, because who doesn't want to have a say? Have you read a question or an answer where you thought, oh yes, that's a good one? Why not hitting the little triangle right next to it and give some credit to the question author and/or answerer?
Why else should you vote? SAP Community is a place to collaborate and learn from each other. Your vote shows other community members that the given answer was of value to others and it makes it more reliable.
