How to provide access of Schedule Publication to BI Content Creator Role?

Schedule Publication is a very good feature in SAP Analytics Cloud where we can create recurrence to distribute latest dashboard instance to users' email id. In this blog I am going to explain how to provide access of Schedule Publication to BI Content Creator Role in SAP Analytics Cloud.

Below are the steps being used to provide access of Schedule Publication to BI Content Creator Role in SAP Analytics Cloud:

Step-1: Click on role.

 

Step-2: Click on BI Content Creator role.

 

Step-3: Click on the check box of create access of schedule publication as shown in below screenshot.

 

Step-4: Save it as a custom role “Schedule”.

 

Step-5: The new custom role “Schedule” is visible now.

 

Step-6: The new custom role “Schedule” can be assigned to any user in the tenant.

In this way we can provide access of Schedule Publication to BI Content Creator Role in SAP Analytics Cloud.

Conclusion: SAP Analytics Cloud provides custom role feature to the admin users. Admin users can create their required roles apart from default roles. It is a great feature of SAP Analytics Cloud.
