Join our SAP Travel & Transportation Industry Forum on June 23rd: Data as an Enabler for the Future of Railways

Title: Data as an Enabler for the Future of Railways

Date: Wednesday, June 23, 2021

Time: 09:00 AM Central European Summer Time

Duration: 1 hour

For nearly 200 years, railways have provided low-cost, increasingly competitive offers to transport passengers and goods around the world.

The European Union has defined 2021 as the European Year of Rail, setting very ambitious safety and sustainability targets to increase usage and support the future development of railways.

In line with the EU call to action, SAP is hosting a forum featuring leading railway undertakings and infrastructure providers to discuss key topics that will elevate rail as the most relevant sustainable transport mode for both passengers and freight.

Join our 60-minute virtual forum to explore the role data plays in supporting priority topics for rail operators, including:

  • Improving the passenger experience while maintaining data privacy
  • Managing freight data beyond country borders
  • Building collaborative rail asset data management practices
