SAP Business Application Studio

SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) is a new SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) service that offers a modern development environment for various technologies like SAP MDK, SAP Fiori, S/4 HANA etc.

 

 

 

Step 1: Go to Welcome to SAP BTP (Login Screen) and select SAP Business Application Studio.

 

 

 

Step 2: Click on Create Dev Space.

 

 

Step 3: Enter the Dev Space Name and select mobile app type as SAP Mobile Application, click on Create Dev Space bottom button.

 

 

 

 

Dev Space is created, wait until it’s running stage. open the space by clicking on the Space Name.

 

 

Step 4: The BAS will look like as per below image.

 

 

 

 

Step 5: Setup cloud foundry environment

Navigate to View menu > Find CommandCF: Login to Cloud foundry.

 

 

 

 

Step 6: Verify the URL and Click Enter on your keyboard.

 

 

 

 

Step 7: When prompted come, enter your e-mail address you used to log in to the SAP BTP account.

 

 

 

 

Step 8: Enter your password you used to log in to the SAP BTP account.

 

 

 

 

Step 9: Select the organization in which you have enabled Mobile Services.

 

 

 

 

Step 10: Select the space in which you have enabled Mobile Services.

 

 

 

If everything will be good you will see the popup The Organization and space have been set at the right side bottom.

 

 

 

Conclusion

In this blog post we successfully created dev space, setup of SAP Business Application Studio with cloud foundry.

      Hi Shree,

      At SAP, SAP Business Application Studio is commonly abbreviated as BAS and sometimes as App Studio but never fafaik as SBS. Maybe update the reference to avoid confusion?
