How to generate a new S-User ID

SAP Support user(S-user) is a unique identifier that contains the letter ‘S’ followed by a string of numbers (e.g. S0011068648)

In this blog post, you will learn more about: generating new S-User IDs to allow your colleagues access to SAP support applications.

Follow the below steps to generate the S-user ID:

  1. S-USER ID CREATION
  1. AUTHORIZATION ASSIGNMENT

Kindly note that S-user ID creation requests take up to 24 hours to process. Once S-User ID is created, you may follow the below steps to assign relevant authorizations:

  • Access https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/user/management using super administrator ID and password
  • Click on the newly created S-user ID under the ‘Requested Users’ tab
  • Click on ‘Authorizations’
  • Click on the Edit button (Pencil icon) against ‘Authorizations’
  • Start assigning authorizations à Save

Note: To assign complete authorizations, you may tick on the ‘All’ option
