In this blog post series we will get started with SAP Conversational AI for SME – also in a practical way! Self-enablement resources are attached for each topic and a short and easy tutorial will show you how to set up your own chatbot and connect it to Business ByDesign and more.
What is SAP Conversational AI?
“SAP Conversational AI is a collection of natural language processing services. As the conversational AI layer of SAP Business Technology Platform, it enables users to build and monitor intelligent chatbots in one interface to automate tasks and workflows.” [SAP]
SAP Conversational AI is the next wave of customer and employee experience. It is mimicking a conversation with real people. Conversing in normal language with a chatbot can help you find the right webpage or user interface, get answers to FAQ or get help with low-value tasks.
The two groups of people benefitting from SAP Conversational AI are employees and customers. It can save valuable employee time by taking over repetitive, low-value tasks. The employee can focus on more interesting and value-creating tasks. A chatbot is immediately available for the customer, 24/7, and can therefore provide an improved experience.
Why for SME?
Especially SMEs have to make the most out of their resources as they are also competing with larger players. SAP Conversational AI can help SMEs free up some of their resources while still being available for their customers 24/7. SAP Conversational AI additionally follows a no-code/ low-code approach that makes developing a chatbot easy and feasible without spending valuable development capacity.
