Choosing the correct tags for SAP S/4HANA Cloud in the SAP Community
With the migration of the SAP S/4HANA Cloud community to the SAP Community, there have been many changes compared to the previous community platform. This blog will guide you on how to select the correct tags when asking a question in the community (now referred to as a “Topic Page”).
It’s important to choose the correct tag if you want the question to be answered quickly by the right experts/contributors.
First, the principle you need to follow is to use the most specific tag for your question. If you decide to use multiple tags, it is important that you choose the most relevant one to appear first. This is because based on the SAP Community settings, the first tag selected is the tag that will trigger notifications (assuming you have them turned on in your profile settings).
It is strongly recommended that for any line of business specific topics, that you only choose the applicable “LoB tag” and any other applicable tag(s) that pertain to the blog/question (i.e. data migration, etc.).
“You should not apply the general SAP S/4HANA Cloud tag to a blog/question for a topic that has a specific tag available to assign. The SAP S/4HANA Cloud tag should only be used for more generalized cross-topics that do not have a specific tag available.”
For example, if the question is relevant to finance, you should choose the SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Finance tag. Otherwise, if you choose multiple irrelevant tags, it will be more difficult for the right experts to identify and prioritize your questions.

Thanks for the guidance. Will there be a tag for Data Migration?
Hi Marissa Ren,
A request been submitted to have Data Migration added as well as Master Data Management so hopefully we will see those in the future. If they do become available, we will make sure to update this blog accordingly.
@Sean, Thank you very much.
Good blog, thanks for sharing!
