SAP HANA Blended Learning Academy (Certification: C_HANAIMP)
SAP HANA has been on the market for about 10 years. Step by step, SAP has raised more and more SAP solutions to SAP HANA, so that today there are many different scenarios that would simply be inconceivable without SAP HANA. These include SAP BW/4HANA and SAP S/4HANA.
But what makes SAP HANA so valuable for our scenarios?
In-memory data storage, multi-core processing, push-down approach, integration services (including smart data access), application services (container-based development), data compression, column-based approach in combination with the delta merge, advanced analytics services (predictive, text analysis)…
The list goes on and on with the services and options available in SAP HANA. But what purpose is SAP pursuing with this huge portfolio of technologies: To be able to process transactional and/or analytical data in a performance-optimized manner.
If you want to understand SAP HANA and focus on the analytical functionality, you have to acquire a basic understanding of the elementary components (e.g. column based approach) of SAP HANA and at the same time build and in-depth analytical knowledge (e.g. calculation view performance optimization).
This is exactly why we have set up a learning path with the courses (HA100, HA300, HA301), which is usually rounded off with the completion of the SAP consultant certification C_HANAIMP. This is recently available to you in a new learning format, the Blended Learning Academy.
The first part covers the contents of the HA100 course:
You will get an insight into relevant SAP HANA technologies (In Memory etc.), SAP HANA scenarios (SAP BW/4HANA etc.), SAP HANA 2.0 architecture (HDI), SAP HANA components (Smart Data Access etc.), Native SAP HANA modeling (Web IDE for SAP HANA), SAP HANA development (ABAP and SQLScript etc.) and SAP HANA administration (high availability, sizing, monitoring, security etc.).
The following part covered by the HA300 deals with the topic of core modeling in SAP HANA:
The focus is on the development of the graphical calculation view with the SAP Web IDE for SAP HANA (filters, aggregations, hierarchies, etc.). In this context, in addition to the graphical calculation view, e.g. SQLScript-based functions and procedures are presented and created. All objects are no longer created in the usual package architecture (XS Classic) but in the so-called HDI containers (XS Advanced), which represent the foundation of the SAP HANA 2.0 development infrastructure. This has many advantages in areas such as versioning and authorization, but also requires an understanding of this type of architecture.
The learning path is supplemented by the part of the HA301 course:
Unlike the HA300, in which the tools for classic reporting are conveyed in great detail, the HA301 deals with specific topics such as text analysis, fuzzy text search, geospecific data analysis, predictive modeling and graph modeling, which are becoming more and more relevant in modern reporting.
The knowledge acquired is rounded off with the SAP consultant certification C_HANAIMP:
The certification exam “SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP HANA 2.0 (SPS0X)” consisting of 80 questions confirms that you have the necessary knowledge in the area of SAP HANA 2.0 for the profile of a SAP HANA Application Consultant.
Unlike in classic SAP courses, with the SAP HANA Blended Learning Academy you have the opportunity to learn the necessary content for the certification exam at your own pace, parallel to your job and to deepen it through live review sessions and exercises on the systems provided.
