Hi everyone!

Every cloud has a silver lining, and the Cloud Availability Center is just one of SAP's! Read below to find out more about the Cloud Availability Center (CAC), its benefits, and how to access the tool.

What is the Cloud Availability Center?

The Cloud Availability Center is a Next-Generation support tool that offers you a personalized dashboard view of the status or availability of your SAP Cloud products, without searching multiple screens!

It gives detailed performance information for your selected tenant, including past and future events, notifications, and the communicated availability, and provides you with up-to-date status on incidents - for example service disruptions/ interruptions/ degradation/ maintenance occurring with your products.

You can also access timely updates during unplanned service downtime situations and an overview of upcoming maintenance events to better plan daily business activities.

How do I access the Cloud Availability Center?

Your S-user personalization in the SAP ONE Support Launchpad gives you a view of your products, the data centers, URLs, and tenants they reside on.

Your S-user ID will need either of  the authorization(s); Display System Data or Edit System Data (see KBA 2587408). To view your S-User authorizations, go to My Authorizations and Functions. To request authorizations, you can use the Self-Service authorization feature on (see KBA 2891528) or contact an administrator listed on the My Important Contacts page. See more here: Learn All About S-user IDs

Super and Cloud Administrators can manage Cloud Notifications for other users by following the steps in KBA 2896942

From within the Cloud Availability Center, you can manage Cloud Notification subscriptions in the SAP Cloud System Notification Subscriptions (CSNS) application (see KBA 2900069).

Why should I use the Cloud Availability Center?

Having your head in the clouds is a good thing! By using the CAC, you can access timely updates during unplanned service downtime situations and an overview of upcoming maintenance events to better plan your daily business activities.

  • Enhanced transparency into the status of cloud services available to your business
