The First Half 2021 Release for SAP SuccessFactors includes innovations and capabilities to help organizations run at their best. In particular, we are excited to be delivering new features and enhancements to SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central that will improve operational efficiency as well as the overall employee experience. Let’s take a look at some of these key features.
In this release, we are delivering a new Health and Vaccine Status monitoring portlet to help you:
- Safely bring employees back into the office
- Provide travel recommendations for employees who travel
- Identify and support high-risk employees based on location, age, and area of work
Leveraging the SAP SuccessFactors MDF Framework and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central people profile, the portlet collects data to monitor employee health and vaccination status and is effectively dated.
HR business partners and leadership teams in an organization can access real-time analytics dashboards to plan activities such as staffing frontline positions, managing safely distanced workspaces, and approving employee travel. This portlet will be available in the Upgrade Center and is a free opt-in item.
We provide a ‘How-to-Guide’ with step-by-step instructions to further customize this portlet for your needs. We also provide a detailed step-by-step guide on how to create report stories with the data collected in the Health and Vaccine Status portlet combined with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central data. We are also delivering new automated features in the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central solution that help to increase operational efficiency. Now you can utilize an end-user facing mass change tool for positions. This allows managers and HR leaders to mass edit positions without the need for IT involvement. Additionally, we have expanded our configurable new hire feature to support manage pending hires (MPH), so you’ll have more flexibility to customize hiring templates for the MPH hiring process.
We have also expanded country compliance capabilities for greater flexibility. Country-specific gender options are now available for Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. Additionally, Address Validation-as-a-Service can now be utilized in the United States.
To further enrich the hybrid experience, we are implementing a new data replication monitor with an improved UI that offers greater performance and filtering capabilities. In addition, employees will now be able to access the SAP Fiori App “My Paystub” in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. This helps reduce the burden of logging into multiple systems and creates a more centralized employee experience.
