Kyma runtime now available on AWS

As of today, you can enable SAP BTP, Kyma runtime also on Amazon Web Services! This means that you can use Kyma runtime in many more regions around the globe. Have a look at the full list on the SAP Help Portal.

Furthermore, it is possible to select the machine size for your Kubernetes cluster underneath Kyma runtime. If you have workloads that require bigger virtual machines than the standard 8vCPUs and 32 GB RAM, you can go up to 48vCPUs and 192 GB RAM of each virtual machine. Our estimator tool is reflecting this option already and we plan to offer this configuration soon for Microsoft Azure-based Kyma runtimes, too.

You can influence the hyperscaler by picking either MS Azure or AWS when creating the subaccount for your Kyma runtime. Afterwards, all configuration options are available when you use the subaccount’s Service Marketplace to create Kyma runtime. This is described in detail in this instruction.

There are more exciting updates planned for Q2 2021, so stay tuned!

      3. aws

We need a plan which supports GPUs to run our Machine Learning Models.
