Quarterly Partner Enablement of SAP Cloud for Utilities 2102 Development Update

When SAP initiated enablement of SAP Cloud for Utilities (C4U) with partners in mid-2020, the C4U team focused on a one-on-one approach with individual partner teams to ensure awareness and comprehension. The enablement content was on the solution roadmap and messaging that SAP uses with our Utilities customers. SAP wanted partners to align their Utilities message with ours. The sessions with each partner allowed for good interaction and some confidential Questions & Answers. Most of the Q&A was about how can we align with certain customers. The SAP C4U team conducted many, many individual C4U partner sessions to pursue partner awareness of C4U across the regions in the partner industry teams. But we recognized that the individualized enablement approach is limited in its ability to quickly get the message out to many partners. There are just too many partners in each region to enable everyone. The approach just doesn’t scale.

So on April 16, members of the SAP C4U team transitioned partner enablement to the first “Global Quarterly Updates for the SAP Cloud for Utilities Development as of 2102”. Instead of one-to-one, SAP is now conducting 1:many partner enablement webinar sessions through SAP PartnerEdge. And will post the recording to the Partner Corner of the Utilities Community page. If you didn’t join the session and want the latest on the C4U solution, I recommend listening.
