We are excited to announce that this year's WiDS Silicon Valley @ SAP conference will be virtual and provide an opportunity for our larger community to attend.

This conference aims to bring together Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Architects, Designers, Project Managers, and Students to join the conversation on how we can leverage Data Science to create a better world. After a year like 2020, where do we go from here?

This year we will focus on the future of Data Science under the theme "Data Science at the Cross Roads." We will do deep dives into the following topics: Model Development & Fundamentals, Production, Society, Ethics, and COVID-19

About WiDS

Stanford University's Women in Data Science (WiDS) initiative is on a mission to inspire and educate data scientists worldwide, regardless of gender, and to support women in the field and spotlight female data scientists working on innovative technology across business, academia, government, and nonprofits.

WiDS Silicon Valley @ SAP is an independent event organized by SAP as part of the annual WiDS Worldwide conference organized by Stanford University and an estimated 150+ locations worldwide, which features outstanding women doing outstanding work in the field of data science. All genders are invited to attend all WiDS Worldwide conference events.

Agenda

We have a great agenda planned for you with representation from companies like Google, Accenture, Strava, IBM, SAP Concur, SAP Ariba, and SAP SuccessFactors, to mention a few.
