Since our last release, SAP SuccessFactors has been working hard to continue delivering on our vision for Human Experience Management (HXM). With HXM we are enabling companies to move beyond facilitating transactions and supporting HR-driven processes, to focusing on creating a human-centered approach. This means listening to your people’s needs and providing them with the tools and information to be productive and make a real impact on the business. In the 1H 2021 release, you’ll see that our latest enhancements are focused around putting employees at the center of the organization. Below are a few key highlights of this release, many of which are also mentioned in our Release Highlights video featuring Amy Wilson, SVP Products and Design.
Last year we launched SAP Work Zone for HR, a unified entry point for employees to access relevant business applications and processes, information, and communication, all of which are presented in a personalized and intuitive manner. With this release, we’re continuing to enhance our solution by adding a new template to support an end-to-end guided experience for employees to ensure their smooth and safe return to work. This template streamlines and simplifies the return-to-work process by providing a unified view so employees can easily complete tasks that span multiple systems.
With SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics, we’re very excited to share that the stories feature, which offers reporting, insights, dashboards, and modern visualizations, can now leverage data from the SAP SuccessFactors Learning solution. You can use learning data to gain deeper insights and make better decisions. Self-service creation of stories, based on content from across the SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite, lets you tell stories that support your business needs.
Continuous performance management, part of SAP SuccessFactors Performance and Goals, is now integrated with Microsoft Outlook. Users can give feedback directly from the Microsoft Outlook ribbon. Weaving the functionality directly into the flow of work makes it easier and faster for employees to give feedback to one another, and encourages a culture of feedback.
We now provide in-app survey functionality for employees to provide feedback on HR service levels. Through integration between SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Service Center and Qualtrics, employees can provide immediate feedback on their service experience when they close a resolved service center ticket. This allows your shared service department to easily measure their effectiveness, efficiency and employee satisfaction, all within the flow of work.
We’re also delivering new engagement cards which are designed to prompt users to take action without leaving the home page. For example, we’re offering cards to nudge or remind users to take time off if they haven’t done so in some time. This helps encourage employees to maintain a healthy work-life balance, prevents burnout, and keeps the workforce performing at its best.
And lastly, the SEC recently ruled that publicly traded companies are required to file human capital data as part of their corporate filings. We are pleased to announce a new capability within our SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics solution: the human capital disclosure template. This template automatically pulls content into an easy-to-consume report, saving time and effort while also supporting SEC compliance efforts of affected organizations.
