Learning the Basics – SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud

Overview

As SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud continues to increase its presence in the Manufacturing Shop Floor space, it becomes more critical to have supporting training and enablement for all related roles to the solution.  I am of the opinion that the SAP Product Development and supporting teams have done a great job making information available for those requiring the information.

The Challenge

Though there are tremendous informational resources available for many stakeholder roles to use with SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud, it is important that these roles be educated in an efficient manner that provides the foundational knowledge of the basic concepts required for effective application in project definition and execution as well as in the everyday use and support of the solution.   This creates the need for focused enablement and trainings to support our customer, partner, and internal stakeholders.

The Journey

As with many other things in life, I am of the opinion that people tend to learn based upon their previous experiences and that learning anything complex requires a personal commitment of interest, time, and effort.  In addition, as there are different methods of learning, exclusively having one form of learning may not provide the best solution for efficient assumption of knowledge for everyone. Therefore, a balance must be found between the amount of time learning, the scope of topics that can be learned within that time, and effort required to develop multiple learning methods to support.

The Basic Courses

Given the assumptions that learning SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud will be a journey and the basic concepts and usage of SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud will be the common need for all learners, the initial courses have been designed under a balanced premise and are being developed, tested, and rolled and maintained out as quickly as possible.

Currently, DMC100 and DMC300 are actively being offered by SAP Training to be followed by DMC200.

We're currently launching DMC in our Company, I would like to learn now after the initial setup more about the data and the analysis capability. DMC200 seems to be exactly right for this, but the Link is leading to "SAP - Error(404)..." SAP - Error (404) Page Not Found
