Transition to the cloud with the Integration workstreams of SAP Enterprise Support Advisory Council
In 2021, we continue to support our customer’s move to the cloud and execution of their integration strategy based on SAP Best Practices. Already, we have a high number of remote assets and services available that help customers to put Integration at the heart of their Intelligent Enterprise.
Also you may be familiar with the recent announcement on the positioning of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) as the platform for the Intelligent Enterprise where customers can achieve agility, business value, and continual innovation through the SAP Integration Suite, and SAP Extension Suite for all SAP and third-party applications and data assets.
Therefore, building on our achievements in the Integration Solutions area for ESAC Program 2020, and along with our extensive offering for Business Technology Platform, we are excited to pilot new content and services with our customers through the SAP Enterprise Support Advisory Council program 2021.
Firstly, we stay focused on the key capabilities of the SAP Integration Suite. In last year’s Integration workstream we focused on the key functionality and capabilities of Open Connectors. This year we want to help customers move to an API-first integration strategy using SAP API Management. In this workstream customers will learn how to use SAP API Management to design, manage, govern your APIs. Afterwards, we will use the workstream to showcase real-life integration scenarios using API Management.
With the recent RISE with SAP offering, we help customers that are considering moving to SAP S/4HANA Cloud with enablement, guidance and support to understand the integration technologies and options available and best practices for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Integration.
As customers move to the cloud, they need their key functionalities to move to the cloud such as the ability to monitor their cloud applications and integration monitoring with SAP Cloud ALM. During this engagement, customers will understand the value of SAP Cloud ALM for their landscape and how to implement and use its main functionalities for Integration Monitoring, with focus on SAP Cloud Integration.
Finally, we continue to support SAP Enterprise Support customers to optimize the return on their investment in SAP cloud applications by investigation and analysis of specific interfaces using the Continuous Quality Check Interface Management (CQC IFM) service. The service helps to minimize potential risks during critical go-lives as well as during the operations phase of your solution and to increase technical stability, performance, throughput, and maintainability of your solution. Presently, we are piloting the service for Customer Experience integration scenarios with SAP Commerce Cloud and SAP Marketing Cloud.
