While it is still too soon to realize the magnitude of the current COVID situation, we have seen over the last year the acceleration of digitalization - again, in many of our private and professional life aspects. As final customers, we expect a simpler and personalized consumption experience, with direct influence on companies and their strategies. As employees, we expect more engaging content, from daily operations to HR, with simpler integration. All of this is forcing companies to constantly reinvent and adjust their business processes and the overall value chain.

In this era where innovation is key for success, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is the foundation to help SAP customers adopting innovations faster, from their SAP S/4HANA investment or early in the transition towards SAP S/4HANA and the Intelligent Enterprise.

And the SAP Enterprise Support Advisory Council (ESAC) program once again, provides the methodology and the SAP experts to help customers, in different value-propositions, to adopt and expand their usage further.

Whenever you are already running business scenarios on SAP BTP, or close to go live, the following workstreams are piloting new CQC services, analyzing your platform, and providing recommendations through a report:

  • Going Live with SAP BTP: You are about to go live with the platform and need a configuration review to ensure a smooth start of production (also applicable after go-live, for health check assessment).

  • Performance Optimization with SAP BTP: You experience performance issues on scenarios running on the platform, and need SAP expertise to recommend reactive measures for optimization.

For the Integration side of SAP BTP, I would encourage you to go though my colleague Robert Kelly's blog, who's handling this topic area in the program: Transition to the cloud with the Integration workstreams of SAP Enterprise Support Advisory Council

And whenever you need to start your adoption journey, with a use-case at hands or without any real idea how to move into the topic, we position our “co-innovation” workstreams, where we engage you step-by-step on a topic, from learnings to practical exercises, with continuous follow-up of our SAP experts until your learning objectives are applied. Yet our value-proposition is built around the following technologies:

SAP Conversational AI

We have two proposals working in combination: Conversation Design for Chatbots workstream, applicable whenever you need to build efficient soft skills to your chatbot, starting either from scratch or from an existing chatbot not fulfilling business expectations. And the Advanced SAP Conversational AI workstream, applicable whenever you have a first chatbot built and you need to secure and integrate it to your SAP landscape, Cloud and on-premise, following SAP Best Practices

SAP Intelligent RPA

Again two proposals working in combination: Expand RPA Adoption to your Businesses workstream, whenever you need to acquire the strategical view from RPA and map it to your business, above a unique use-case to build an automation strategy cross-units. And the Advanced SAP Intelligent RPA, that could be run in parallel by one of your implementation team, once you have a use-case defined and you need support until the first prototype realization.

SAP Launchpad and SAP Work Zone

This workstream brings the latest in terms of User Experience, with the central entry-point SAP Launchpad, and SAP Work Zone being the digital workspace to empower your users' engagement and embed all sorts of apps, processes and information. Here you will be supported to configure and deploy both services to your SAP landscape until you realize the first prototype.

SAP Mobile Development Toolkit

This workstream helps you to adopt the SAP Mobile Development Kit from SAP Mobile Services, the latest way to build multi-channel applications that can be run on browsers and mobile devices, leveraging native capabilities like offline management. From your exposed Odata service we will help you to build and run your first SAP MDK application.

SAP Extension Suite

SAP Extension Suite is all the above and much more! In this workstream, we will bring you through an exhaustive dive on what the SAP Extension Suite is made of: the fundamentals, the extension suite tools, the product specifics with given examples from your SAP solutions of choice, and the introduction of the above services whenever you don’t have the opportunity to engage into a workstream (see 6 workstreams above). Following this path and with the inclusion of multiple SAP experts, you will receive a unique opportunity to match what the SAP Extension Suite can do with your business requirements and growth opportunities.

Prerequisites to join the SAP ESAC program:

  • Underlined: being an SAP Enterprise Support or Enterprise Support Cloud Edition customer.

  • Technical prerequisites: whenever applicable to a workstream – check the One pager document from SAP Discovery Center missions.

  • Valid for all: innovation appetence, and time and motivation to co-innovate with SAP experts.
