What You Need to Know about the Web Assistant for SAP Business Technology Platform Cockpit

Get the help you need for the screen you’re looking at without leaving the respective application. The Web Assistant in-app help for the SAP Business Technology Platform cockpit can make life easier for you as it provides a seamless, context-sensitive, and guiding experience. 

 

How do I access the Web Assistant? 

Accessing the in-app help, or Web assistant, is easy. Visit your SAP BTP cockpit (or get a trial account here to try it out) and click the help icon (?) in the upper right corner. The button will open a help panel on the right side of the screen, displaying in-depth explanation for UI elements, such as buttons or navigation. Try it out! 

Select one of the tiles in the help panel to get more information, links to tutorials or further documentation bite-sized and tailored to your situation. Alsolines link between tiles and the UI elements on the screen that they refer to. This way, you can easily and quickly assess for which element you can get extra help. To close Web assistantclick the (?) icon again or press F1
