Customer First: Delivering Unique Intellectual Property Through a Structured, Design-Thinking Approach in a Packathon

10 new SAP-qualified partner-packaged solutions now in progress.

In the current world where disruption is the norm, deriving correct insights from data is paramount. Encouraging and supporting our SAP partners to create innovations to help customers move toward insights driven decision making is the need of the hour.

A brand new packathon was launched for partners in EMEA South late last year to provide them with the support to deliver unique intellectual property through a structured, design-thinking approach. SAP held two events to help partners not only deliver working solutions, but create market-ready packages. More than 150 participants from 40+ partners participated, and 10 approved SAP-qualified partner-packaged solutions are now in progress. But don’t just take our word for it. Since this innovative format has proven to be successful, additional packathons were held in February and March 2021, and we expect additional ones to be announced. A packathon is more than just an enablement workshop – it strives to deliver a clear output. Partners develop their IP or packaged solutions on SAP Data Warehouse Cloud that showcase Extensions, Integration, and Consolidation with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP SuccessFactors and/or any other Line of Business or Industry Cloud scenarios.
