New feature available in SITSPMON: WebGUI Health Check

Hello SAP Community,

The ITS is evolving, so the WebGUI!

When we face any kind of issue while using the WebGUI, and SAP Support needs to be contacted, some information is required. As of SAP Note 2257042, we have the following information available in SITSPMON:

  • Unified Rendering Version/Release Information
  • Kernel Release Information
  • ITS Update Information
  • ITS Handler Information

One example from my test system:

SITSPMON%3A%20Support%20Information

Even though this information is relevant for SAP Support, what if we would like to know more about the actual health of the WebGUI? More than knowing about the memory consumption?

It is quite recent, the WebGUI Health Check is now available:

SITSPMON%3A%20WebGUI%20Health%20Check

Here we can find more information about the WebGUI: ITS features, the ITS.SAR package (which delivers the MIMEs used by WebGUI), the profile parameter required to extract the ITS.SAR package. Of course, there are more details about the WebGUI service and the parameters set on it.

If there is anything wrong with the settings, the Status column will display a red icon and extra comments will be available in the Information column.

You can use the toolbar to export the content the WebGUI Health Check and share with SAP Support in an incident.

You can find more information about how to have this new feature available in our system in KBA 3031743.

I hope you enjoy this new feature.

Kind regards,

Cris
