Configure Cloud Connector on SAP Business Technology Platform when activated TFA

How to activate TOTP Two-Factor Authentication on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)

For more details on how to activate step-by-step, please follow this blog:

https://blogs.sap.com/2021/02/22/activate-totp-two-factor-authentication-on-sap-business-technology-platform-formerly-known-as-cloud-platform-at-alibaba-cloud/

Configure Cloud Connector on BTP when you have activated TOTP Two-Factor Authentication (TFA)

When you configure your local Cloud Connector to your org, in the field Password, you should enter your Cockpit password plus your TFA passcode together without any character between them.

For example, your Cockpit password is abc, and your one-time passcode is 123456, then you should enter abc123456.

Since this Cloud Connector is a one-time configuration, you don’t have to worry about the expiration time of your passcode.

      Hi Tia,

I am trying to connect SAP CC to my Hana cloud account and I followed your blog. I have enabled the 2FA and used the passcode in the way you explained in this blog. Unfortunately, I am still getting "unauthorized" error and it's not connecting to my subaccount.

It would be great if you can help me here 🙂

      Hi Mohini,

As you mentioned, you got error "unauthorized", which is an authorization problem, not authentication (bu following this blog). Please check whether the permission or roles of the user are enough.
