Dear All,

This UA blog will give you a brief overview of the Help offering in the 2102 release of SAP Marketing Cloud.

The 2102 version of the SAP Marketing Cloud Help Portal page is now generally available at  http://help.sap.com/mkt, as is the Product User Assistance.

From the Fiori Launchpad, you can access the complete Help offering by clicking the question mark in the top right corner as shown here.

And here are just a few of the highlights of the latest release.

Words - Witnessing Semantic Change

Words are the bread and butter of UA and right now it’s fascinating to observe the semantic shifts that have been taking place within the past year alone. While dictionaries like Merriam-Webster and Oxford English Dictionary have been busier than ever adding new words (COVID-19, R0, super-spreader) and adding new meanings to familiar words (bubble, cocooning), the UA team was busy making the system language bias-free and eradicating insensitive language, such as black and white, master and slave, in line with the SAP-wide initiative.

This involved changing several hundred system texts and renaming these 2 apps:

  • Campaign Execution Whitelist -> Campaign Execution Inclusion List

  • Campaign Execution Blacklist -> Campaign Execution Exclusion List
If you’re interested in learning more about the initiative, watch this short video Inclusive Language at SAP.

What's New in the Video Library

The video production team was also busy.  Here’s a sneak preview of the latest additions to the extensive library:

Tutorials in the Learning Center

A new tutorial Creating Custom Analytics Stories was added in 2102.
It  shows you how to create custom analytic stories with SAP Analytics Cloud.

You can find all our tutorials here in the Tutorial Library.

And that's it for this time. As always, we value your feedback, so please keep it coming.

Kind regards,

Joan for the UA Team
