A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated and shared their trivia knowledge around SAP TechEd.
[Update // Feb 16th 2021] Voting is now LIVE!
To vote on the SAP Community Trivia Contest winner, simply go to this community question. The finalists are listed as answers to the question. Upvote the answer you believe is the most interesting piece of SAP TechEd trivia! Voting closes on February 28th, 23:59 Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) / UTC-7.
I love trivia. It’s this knowledge that is somewhat obsolete, yet necessary; somewhat superfluous, yet good to know; somewhat silly, yet amusing. The idea behind the trivia contest (and yay – this is actually already the third round) is to share trivia knowledge amongst us all and benefit from each other. It will be fun, yet hopefully teach you new wisdom as well.
Theme for February:
SAP TechEd is a wrap – let us know your random fact.
For this round, we would like you to share your trivia knowledge about SAP TechEd in general. It’s all about learning, so we want to get your insights of what you learned from the sessions and the event itself. We currently have a series of replays and hands on activities that will give you the opportunity to catch up on sessions you missed; we’re modifying some of the formats so you’ll be able to take a closer look at the hands-on content. Check it out!
Share with us anything that pops up in your mind that would be a fun fact to know about SAP TechEd for our community.
For example, we thought about facts as easy as, but not limited to:
- TechEd is short for Tech Education conference.
- The digital version of SAP TechEd in 2020 had a studio cat named “Kater Kasimir”.
- At SAP TedchEd 2013 in Las Vegas participants had the chance to win backstage passes for a meet & greet with Imagine Dragons.
How it works:
Once you came across a random piece of trivia, please email your submission (the fact) along with the link to your public SAP profile (you want to make sure that we know who you are) to the firstname.lastname@example.org inbox. Please submit your trivia fact by February 15th, 23:59 Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) / UTC-7. Your community team will do the first round of judging, narrowing down to 5 finalists who have the most random, most interesting and funniest piece of trivia. We will post these 5 finalist submissions in a community Q&A entry so it is available for everyone and that all of you guys have the chance to vote on the best one. You are of course also very much welcome to leave a comment and engage with the author of the trivia fact.
Et voila – we even reward the author of the highest-voted piece of trivia with a badge!
The Trivia Contest Winner III.
Many thanks in advance for your submissions. We’re looking forward to it!
