Hi Guys,

This is my first SAP blog post. I have been working as a basis specialist for 12 years in various industries. I would like to share my experiences and the practical solutions I have discovered with SAP people through "sap blogs" channel.

For years, I have run into connection issues coming from end-user side during logging into SAP systems where load-balancing is used. Especially, issues with services file maintenance has always been troublesome.

While browsing through notes, I found notes mentioning an alternative configuration method for load balancing. For example, When I tried to run olap excel analysis for office reports, I ran into " service unknown" issue. To solve this, I use the below configuration.

you can use the same configuration on sap gui and rfc connections as well.

As a conclusion, I must say producing sustainable solutions to issues is crucial for end users to continue to work without interruption. Thus, maintenance effort can be reduced as well as end-user satisfaction
