Content Store now Available for People Analytics Stories

As part of the 2011 H2 Release for People Analytics Stories, we have now launched the Content Store for Stories. This will act as a central repository of Story Templates to be used for People Analytics. These templates available in the Content Store will help get you started with Story Reports.

 

These templates are currently for Employee Central based schema which includes topics such as Compensation, Time Management, Employment and more.


The list of templates available will depend on the products that are enabled in your tenant.

 

The Content Store is where the latest version of Story Templates are updated and will no longer be maintained via the Customer Community. This will make them more accessible to Customer & Partners and smoothen the enablement process for People Analytics Stories.

Prerequisites:



  • You must have People Analytics successfully enabled on your tenant.

  • The admin must have the Story Admin permission assigned to them in RBP.


How to use it?



  1. Click on the Import button in Report Centre:




  2. Click on the Content Store tab.

  3. Click on the Story Template you would like to Import.

    1. For Technical Information on the Story, click on the See More Details button:







  4. Click on the Import Button.




  5. Review the disclaimer on importing template and click on OK, I understand.




  6. Import is successful & Refresh the Report Centre.

    • If the report does not load into the Report Centre initially, please run a sync of the report centre search so the new report lists.



  7. Follow the Quick Fix Guide to Validate the Story Template.


Note: All the screenshots used in this blog are taken from Demo instance.

Notes:



  • The Content Store only currently supports the English Language.

  • The Content Store is only being used for storing Story templates.

  • The Story Template is not guaranteed to work out of the box. For further information, please review the quick fix guide for templates:
