During an initial load of business partners from SAP S/4HANA to SAP Cloud for Customer, business partner confirmation messages are disabled to increase throughput so as to reduce the initial loading time.
After the initial load of business partners is complete customer would like to map internal and external IDs in SAP S/4HANA. To do this you have to manually trigger the confirmation message from C4C and this feature will help you do that.
To enable this feature, follow these instructions:
Navigate to
- Under Master Data, select Send Business Partner Confirmation
Here you can provide the selection criteria and Execute the report.
You can also do a Test Run before triggering the actual message.
There is an application log available in the main screen which will show details of the report run.
The payload will look similar to the one shown below
Note: The Reference ID and Reference UUID will not correspond to the original replication message in this case as the replication context is already lost.
When confirmation message is triggered via this report the ID / UUID value is maintained a constant (see highlighted part in the image).
The value used is an easily identifiable one as well.
So in S4 key mapping if the reference is seen as this UUID then you can make sure that the confirmation has been triggered via this report and not with the replication cycle.
