Recurring Service in S/4HANA Service – Copy maintenance plan/completion required/do not release immediately
When you are creating a maintenance plan for service, you can click Do Not Release Immediately, so that the generated service orders have the open status. If you do not click this option, the generated service orders that contain no errors will have the released status. For details about this function, see the following video:
If you specify Completion Required, a service order is not generated until the previous service order is completed. When a maintenance plan has multiple maintenance items, service orders are not generated from a maintenance item until all the service orders of the previous maintenance item are completed with completion date updated. If you want to start generating service orders from a maintenance item, you can manually set the completion date for service orders generated from the previous maintenance item. For more details about this function, see the following video:
You can copy a maintenance plan from an existing maintenance plan. For more details about this function, see the following video:

Hi Sophie, thanks for sharing this information. It's very helpful for customers and consultant which didn't know anything of Preventive Maintenance in Maintenance Plant. THANKS a lot
How does a service manager upload the number of equipment details to a maintenance plan? How the S4C Service maintenance plan is aligned with the C4 Service maintenance plan?
Thanks for the information. Copy Maintenance Plan feature is only available in Fiori app or under GUI T-codes also?
