I would like to highlight the latest scenarios and features that are now available with the Cloud Integration Automation Service framework

What's new?

New scenarios

In total, Cloud Integration Automation Service now offers 78 (!) Integration Scenarios. Several new scenarios were added in Q4 / 2020. e.g. 6 new MDM Business Partner Integration scenarios.

Especially, if you check the list of available scenarios on the Help Portal or directly in the Maintenance Planner, you will see that we now offer more hybrid (OnPremise to Cloud) scenarios.

Also we now offer a scenario to configure the SAP Cloud Connector with principal propagation.

And we have several new hybrid scenarios in the pipeline, so watch out for new scenarios to come in 2021.

New OnPremise (Hybrid) Scenarios:

  • Intelligent Enterprise - Recruit to Retire - Hire to Retire

    • On-Premise: Integration Setup for EC to EC Payroll (15O) 2021

    • On-Premise: Setting up Payroll Processing with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (1NL) 2021

    • On-Premise: Workforce Management with SAP Cloud Platform Services

  • Intelligent Enterprise - Source to Pay - Guided Buying

New Automations

Besides the well-known Cloud Integration Automation Service features like:

  • selection of systems from customer specific selection list

  • role-based distribution of tasks

  • direct hyperlink to systems for configuration

  • parameter transfer from task to task

you will now find more automated tasks available in some of the scenarios. This makes it much easier to carry out a task. Instead of typing in data and doing the configuration manually, you simply need to press the “Execute Step” button and the configuration happens automatically in the background.

New Automated tasks in Scenarios:

Scenario Replicating Cost Centers from SAP S/4HANA On Premise to SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

    • Create of the SuccessFactors API User

    • Test the API User

    • Create SuccessFactors Credentials

    • Copy the required Integration Package

    • Configure and Deploying the iFlow

    • Test the Cost Center iFlow Connectivity

    • Test the Connectivity to CPI

    • Verify the Cost Center Replication (to come)

Scenario Migrating Employee and Organizational Data from SAP S/4HANA On Premise to SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

    • Create the SuccessFactors API User

    • Test the API User
