Packathon in EMEA South: Leading Partners from Innovation to Business Impact in just One Week

In the current world where disruption is the norm, deriving correct insights from data is paramount. Encouraging and supporting our partners to create innovations to help customers move toward insights driven decision making is the need of the hour.

To encourage partner driven innovations, in a joint effort, various teams evolved a Hackathon into a “Packathon”. But what is the difference? A Hackathon is a platform for partners to transform their idea into a working solution. A Packathon truly strives partners to not just delivering a working solution, but a market-ready packaged solution with embedded commercial plans.

150+ participants from 40+ Partners representing 17 countries participated in two separate Packathon events. Each event was one week long, with focus on Intelligent Robotic Process Automation and SAP Analytics Cloud respectively.

20 Partners presented their packaged solutions and there are at least already 10 approved SAP-Qualified Partner-Packaged Solutions in progress. Moreover, 51 SAP Analytics Cloud Hackathon Digital Badges were issued, which are now being flaunted by participants on LinkedIn, generating a huge positive interest in the customer community.

Packathons are open for partners who can commit for a seven days engagement with us. It is more than just an enablement workshop – it strives to deliver a clear output. Our next Packathon starts on February 18: Packathon – Develop your market ready solution on SAP Data Warehouse Cloud for an LoB or Industry scenarios. We invite partners to develop their IP or intellectual solutions on SAP Data Warehouse Cloud that showcases Extensions/Integration/Consolidation with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP SuccessFactors and/or any other Line of Business or Industry Cloud scenarios.
