Experiences from SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing Days 2020
SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing Days 2020 was hosted in virtual mode this year due to the closedown of office space due to COVID-19 pandemic. Planning a virtual event has its own nitigrities and observation to details.
A team of volunteers was formed, where we split amongst ourselves for Customer acquisitions, promotional activities, agenda building and started to work on the assigned chores. The Customers and Partners, who participated in the previous Manufacturing Day-2019 were happy to see the event being hosted again and this time virtually enabling more participations. New Customers, who had shown interest were invited and the target number was reached.
The promotional activities got triggered in parallel lines for topic selection and shortlisting. The topics were also selected based on the Customers & Partners interests as shown during the telephonic conversation during Customer acquisitions.

In parallel, the Customer acquisition team started to get the pulse in topic of interest and we aligned with the speakers for the topic showcase and agenda build.
