SAP Career Choices range from working with different types of SAP Partners to SAP Customers in different Industry Sectors.

SAP Partner Types

There are partners who resell SAP Solutions, and many others who provide Consulting, Education, and Implementation Services. SAP also has partners who Develop, Integrate & Extend SAP Solutions. You can work with any of them, depending on your aptitude.

You can make use of your existing skills, and develop additional, such as Selling & Marketing, Consulting & Training, and Technical, to work with SAP Partners on different types of Projects.

SAP Customer CoE

Among the other career options you have are to work with SAP Customers. When the project work is finished, the solution requires day-to-day support. It is handled by a Technical Support team. Typically, it's organization's internal IT who maintains the solution, from managing incidents and problems to change requests. In some cases, such work is outsourced to 3rd parties who specialize in Technical Support.

If you like routine work, it could be your best choice. Depending on an organization's internal hierarchy, you may work either with its IT or Line of Business to provide SAP module support.
