Splunk @ SAP TechEd

Team, I recently wrote a blog about the relationship between SAP and Splunk, as well as Splunk Service Intelligence for SAP solutions – the first monitoring tool giving a single pane of glass into visibility of your infrastructure, end to end.

I know it can be frustrating to deal with downtime and service degradations that can be caused by SAP systems, and it can take hours trying to figure out where and why the problem is occurring. This can be highly manual and resource-intensive with your existing tools when you’re trying to anticipate issues and faults before they escalate into problems that impact customers.  That’s why we’re seeing such success with Splunk Service Intelligence for SAP solutions – it that continuously collects and analyzes data across SAP systems to empower your team to monitor, discover, and investigate issues. By eliminating the manual effort and complexity of analysis, you can drive continuous improvements in service health and performance faster and more proactively than before.

Which brings me to SAP TechEd – THE event for all things SAP.  This year, Splunk is joining in the fun as a Silver Sponsor this year.  We’ll have staff available in the partner showcase.  We are also doing a Channel 1 session!  Numbered PT 103, it’s titled Boost SAP Performance with Splunk Service Intelligence for SAP solutions on December 9th at 4pm Eastern, 1pm Pacific. We’ll not only give an overview of the product and discuss how it integrates with SAP for full-stack visibility, we’ll also show it running with that single pane of glass I mentioned above.

If you’re at SAP TEchEd (and why wouldn’t you be…it’s free and a great way to gain more information and knowledge about your SAP infrastructure), feel free to schedule in the above session.  If you aren’t already registered, click here to get started!  I look forward to seeing you there.

Moving SAP data into Splunk to power this technology is done with RHONDOS PowerConnect – for a deep dive, check out RHONDOS.com; this is the company that provides Powerconnect and the support package in North America – This should be a great session
