SAP S/4HANA Move for Finance Blog series #09 of 15 Increase Customer Satisfaction and Process Efficiency in Receivables Management with SAP S/4HANA
Thank you for joining our SAP S/4HANA Finance Move blog series breaking down the Webinar Series for Finance Professionals
In this on demand webinar, hosted by Nicole Baranov, Solution Owner Treasury and Working Capital Management at SAP, learn how to establish highly automated Account Receivables processes with SAP S/4HANA. Increase the efficiency of your credit and accounting departments and prospectively forecast and manage cash flow to ultimately achieve early payment.
Here’s the agenda Nicole will cover:
- Overview about this session
- The new world of Receivables Management with SAP S/4HANA
- The ideal world of Receivables Management with additional accelerators
Additionally, here are some of the questions and answers from our live session:
- Does the Receivables Management solution replace or complement ECC FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management)?
In ECC, the modules around dispute, collections and credit were named FSCM. When moving to SAP S/4HANA, it was renamed to RM (Receivables Management). So, the basic processes are identical, however as mentioned there are process enhancements that will only be available in SAP S/4HANA since our current roadmap only delivers functionality for core SAP S/4HANA components and no longer for ECC. An exception are the cloud platform solutions, since they can also be connected to ECC and therefore improve existing processes in ECC
- Where can I find more detailed information about all functionalities Receivables Management (RM) covers?
Please have a look at the following links: https://www.sap.com/products/erp-financial-management/accounts-receivable-billing.html and SAP Help for more technical details on infrastructure: https://help.sap.com/viewer/3cb1182b4a184bdd93f8d62e3f1f0741/1909.000/en-US/824da357a352ca02e10000000a4450e5.html
- Is integration between FI – AR and Collections Management real-time in SAP S/4HANA?
Yes, the information the collector sees when opening the customer contact details and invoice lists is real-time and exactly identical to what he would see in FI-AR transactions such as FBL5N, but enriched with credit, dispute and collection information.
